When using the Internet site “GBI” (hereinafter referred to as this site) operated by the ◯◯ Management Office (hereinafter referred to as the Office), the following basic terms of use (hereinafter referred to as these Terms) are presented and applied. Please note that by using this site, you are deemed to have agreed to the following Terms.
Article 1
These Terms apply to all persons (hereinafter referred to as users) who access this site and watch and view various data, documents, software, videos, audio, photos, images, etc.
These Terms and Conditions and the various regulations (hereinafter referred to as “Various Regulations”) separately stipulated by this site shall each constitute a part of these Terms.
Article 2
The Office may change these Terms at any time without the consent of the user, and the user shall agree to this.
The changes and revisions in the preceding paragraph shall take effect from the time the changed and revised Terms are posted on this site.
Article 3
The user shall access this site and watch and view various data, documents, software, videos, audio, photos, images, etc. at his/her own risk. Users agree to these terms and conditions, use this site at their own risk and expense, and prepare all necessary user facilities such as communication equipment, software, and public lines.

In this case, the text may be summarized or excerpted, or the posted image may be resized, cropped, or otherwise modified, or the author’s name may be omitted. In addition, not only in the cases specifically described in this section, but also when the Secretariat or a third party who has received permission to reuse from the Secretariat uses the posted content, the user shall not exercise the moral rights of the author under the Copyright Act (right to publish, right to display name, right to maintain integrity). When the Secretariat or a third party who has received permission to reuse from the Secretariat uses the posted content posted by the user, there shall be no regional restrictions or other associated conditions. The Secretariat may use the posted content as reference material for product development or marketing data, etc., or provide it to a third party after removing any personally identifiable information.
(4) This site is not a service that guarantees that the posted content will be permanently stored or posted. The Secretariat shall not be liable for any damages incurred by the customer in connection with the deletion or loss of the post and related information.
Article 5
Users shall not perform the following acts.
(1) Any act of falsifying or deleting information on this site, or any act of sending or posting information that is contrary to the facts
(2) Any act that infringes or may infringe the copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights of other users, third parties, or our office
(3) Any act that discriminates, libels, or damages the reputation or credibility of other users, third parties, or our office
(4) Any act that infringes or may infringe the property, privacy, portrait rights, or publicity rights of other users, third parties, or our office
(5) Any act of sending advertising, promotional, or solicitation e-mails to other users, third parties, or our office without permission, any act of sending e-mails that the recipient finds offensive, any act of interfering with the reception of e-mails by others, any act of requesting the forwarding of chain e-mails, or any act of forwarding e-mails in response to such requests
(6) Any act that is linked to a crime such as fraud
(7) Any act of setting up or soliciting a pyramid scheme
(8) Sending or posting images or documents that are obscene or child abuse.
(9) Election campaigning or similar activities, or activities that violate the Public Offices Election Act.
(10) Using, providing, or recommending harmful programs such as computer viruses.
(11) Using this site by impersonating another user or a third party.
(12) Attempting unauthorized access to other computer systems or networks connected to this site.
(13) Other activities that violate laws, regulations, or public order and morals (prostitution, violence, cruelty, etc.), or that cause harm to other users, third parties, or the Secretariat.
(14) Activities that encourage the activities specified in the preceding items.
(15) Other activities that the Secretariat deems inappropriate.
Article 6
The Secretariat may temporarily suspend and maintain part or all of this site without prior notice to users in the following cases, and users agree to this.
(1) When unavoidable due to maintenance or construction of the equipment for this site

(2) When unavoidable due to a failure in the equipment for this service

(3) When the telecommunications service becomes unavailable due to the telecommunications services provided by a Type 1 telecommunications carrier or other telecommunications carrier

(4) When the Secretariat determines that temporary suspension is necessary for other operational or technical reasons

Article 7
If a user of this site causes damage to this site or a third party, the user shall compensate for such damage at his/her own responsibility and expense.

In addition, the user shall be responsible for the actions of the person who accesses this site as a result of advertisements displayed on this site or the functions of such advertisements, and the Secretariat shall not be held responsible or liable for the actions or results of the person who accesses the site.

Article 8
All information (including text, images, photographs, audio, video, programs, etc.) obtained by users of this site through browsing and using this site is protected by intellectual property rights such as copyrights, trademarks, and patents, as well as by laws and regulations.
Therefore, users of this site shall refrain from reproducing or copying this information, or from any other actions that infringe or may infringe intellectual property rights.

Article 9
The Secretariat shall not be liable for any damages or losses incurred by those accessing this site in relation to the use of this site, and shall not be obligated to pay compensation for damages.

Users of this site agree to this.

Article 10
In the event of a lawsuit arising from these terms and conditions and all of the Secretariat’s terms and conditions, the Secretariat and those accessing this site shall submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo Summary Court or the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance.

Article 11
The governing law for these terms and conditions and all of the Secretariat’s terms and conditions shall be the laws of Japan.

Article 12
The Secretariat may, at its discretion, terminate this site for any reason with prior notice.

Supplementary Provision
Supplementary Provision: These terms and conditions shall come into effect on April 1, 2002.

Supplementary Provision: Amendments to these terms and conditions shall come into effect on July 1, 2020.
